They are 27km and 50km south of Bonny Island and at water depths of 65 ft and 131 ft respectively. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are 7 discovered fields in OML 72, namely \u2013 Kalaekule, KD, Koronama, Kugbe, KL, KQ, Kappa. Kalaekule was discovered in 1964 and commenced production in July 1986. It achieved a peak production of 28,600 BOPD in June 1994. Production was at 13,600 BOPD when the field was shut in for facility upgrade in August 2002. To date Kalekule is the only producing field in OML 72.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OML 71 has 2 main fields called KI and KI South and it is yet to be developed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243;
